Please read these guidelines before using Cahier de Paris Hotel.

Cahier de Paris Hotel is administered by 1001webpromotions; it is a web portal collecting information on the many small hotels in Paris that provide online reservations.

These hotels are presented with an eye towards the American traveler in terms of their location, facilities and services, in order to help you choose the hotel that best fits your needs.

Since the equipment, services and requirements you will definitely want to check out are laid out in detail for each hotel, your pre-reservation worries will all be taken care of !

For hotel reservations, we use an online reservation system that will keep your information private while leading you through the process, from checking on vacancies all the way through finalizing your booking. We’re here as a reference and booking tool, whenever you want, and at your own pace.

Member registration is shared with the Paris information site, Cahier de Paris. If you login as a member, you can to use My Cahier Hotel and post comments in the User Impressions box found on each hotel's page.

You can read assessments on different hotels, and get some word-of-mouth information from people who have actually stayed at these hotels, by reading the User Impressions (which are restricted to Cahier de Paris members exclusively).

Because Cahier de Paris is not a travel agent, they cannot make reservation arrangements, quote prices, or confirm vacancies.

As they are not the agents for each individual hotel, any questions or concerns involving the facilities or services (such as room size, availability of A/C, and metro information) will not be answered. Please enquire about those issues by contacting the hotel directly yourself. (The hotel’s contact information will be included in your reservation confirmation email.)

Any questions regarding pages that do not display correctly, or any malfunction in the online reservation system, will be processed by 1001webpromotions. Please be sure to include the name of the hotel and page which you are having problems with, along with a clearly written, detailed explanation of the issue.

We apologize in advance for any troubles or losses concerning reservations and payments you may experience from using 1001webpromotions and Cahier de Paris.

【1】 There are three methods of looking up hotels: 1. by hotel name, 2. by area, 3. by required features.
【2】 From the search results page, click on the link for one of the hotels displayed and you’ll be taken to its introductory page.
【3】 On the Vacancy Confirmation & Online Reservation page, you can see if there are rooms available for the days you desire, and check hotel rates. For a detailed explanation, click here.
【4】 Please be sure to read the cancelation terms and conditions before completing your reservation.
【5】 Use the online reservation system to finalize your booking.
【6】 Print out, and be careful not to lose, your reservation confirmation email. As this is proof of your reservation, make sure you bring it with you to the hotel.

【1】Anyone can read these by simply clicking on the “User Impressions” tab on any hotel’s introductory page.
【2】To input information on a hotel you have actually stayed in, you must first have registered as a member of Cahier de Paris. Once you have logged in, click on the “User Impressions” tab on that hotel’s introductory page.
【3】If you are logged in, you’ll be able to input comments. Please be sure to fill in the length of your stay and the type of room you were in. After your comment has been submitted our editorial staff will review it, and if there are no problems it will be published to the website after a short time. Even if you had a negative experience, try to write an objective opinion out and we will be sure to publish it. So please submit any relevant personal experiences because these will be very valuable to other travelers.

Paris is small!
You can walk from north to south in less than three hours. By using the metro or the bus, no matter where you stay, you will be able to access all of Paris’ sightseeing spots in 10-20 minutes. So trying to choose a hotel based on its proximity to the sights and shops you want to visit is not really important in Paris. If you’re looking to save money, you can get a hotel that is not right in the heart of Paris, and it will still be feasible to enjoy all of the sightseeing and shopping you want. So, what should you be looking at when choosing a hotel?

Most people believe there is no point in thinking about the main purpose of their trip to Paris, because they want to do all kinds of different things, but if they had to, they could prioritize their goals. Are you mainly coming for sightseeing? Looking to do some intensive shopping? Hoping to enjoy the nightlife? Or perhaps you are hoping to see more of the surrounding areas of France and just using Paris as a home base?
