There’s a lot of great stuff to say about the Hotel Royal Magda Etoile, but its fantastic location is at the top of the list. It’s only a few minutes walk to Place de l'Etoile (Etoile Plaza), where the Arc de Triomphe rises up. There’s a bus stop for the Air France Shuttle Bus, which runs non-stop to the airport and gets there in about 40 minutes, so it’s a pretty convenient spot.
You’ll have easy access to various places all over Paris since the Metro RER A has three trains running. If you take Metro Line 1, you’ll have direct access, with no transfers, to Champs Elysees’ main street, Tuileries Garden, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, Paris City Hall, the Mallet district (Saint Paul), Bastille, and the final stop, Château de Vincennes. Line 2 extends into the south of France, and has direct access to the lively areas at the foot of Montmartre, Pigalle and Antwerp. And then Line 6 advances down the left bank of Paris to Trocadero and the chic, exclusive area of Passy. It also heads to Bir-Hakeim station at the Eiffel Tower, and the Montparnasse neighborhood where popular brand-name stores like Andre and H&M are lined up. If you get on the RER A line it will take you, again with no transfers, to Disneyland Resort Paris (you’ll want to visit here at least once!) and the La Vallee Outlet Shopping, where you can get popular brands for about half price. Of course, we also recommend this hotel because of its chic, elegant interior. The inside was just recently remodeled, and is very clean. The simple rooms will provide a space where you can really relax, surrounded by the esprit of Paris. Air-conditioning and free wireless internet complete the promise of a pleasant stay here. And for those times when you’re just a little bored, don’t worry because they also have JSTV (Japanese Satellite TV), which is somewhat rare in Paris. They don’t really have any Single rooms, but you can certainly use a Double room as a Single. Of course, they'll change the cost to that of a Single. And since you can slowly enjoy breakfast until noon, the service will make any travelers with jet-lag happy. |
