The Hotel Acacias Etoile sits across from the Arc de Triomphe on the opposite side from Champs Elysees. Japanese travelers may not be very familiar with it, but for those in the know this little known area is a great spot. The chic and quiet environment, with Haussmann style buildings lined up all around, is the exact image of the "Parisian Dream". The Arc de Triomphe is only one Metro stop away, but since it only takes about 3 minutes to walk there it may actually be faster on foot. Being able to see the beautiful Arc de Triomphe at the beginning of the day, and again after your sightseeing is all finished and you return to your hotel, would be considered an extravagance even by native Parisians.
The nearest station, Argentine Station, is only a few dozen seconds’ walk away. Line 1, which runs through this station, is an extremely convenient route that crosses all of Paris, giving you direct access to the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Petit Palais (Art Museum), Grand Palais, Concorde Plaza, Tuileries Gardens, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cite', Châtelet, Paris City Hall, the Mallet District, and Bastille.
But, of course, the location is not this hotel’s only charmig feature. The natural beige and brown colors of the rooms provide an atmosphere that lets you feel at home all the way down to your heart. In addition to the obvious facilities of A/C and a mini-bar in the room, you’ll also get free ADSL internet connection there, and free WiFi (wireless internet) in the lobby. A same day laundry service, voltage adaptor plugs for shavers from various countries, and, depending on room availability, late check-out are even more of the steps this hotel has taken to make you happy. |
